Judy Thomas
Judy Thomas is a qualified, experienced, and registered psychologist who regularly attends workshops to remain up to date with current counselling techniques and the latest research.
She offers both adult and adoloscent counselling.
Recent Workshops Attended
In 2013, she attended the 4 day Gottman Couples Therapy Level 2 Training with John and Julie Gottman ( www.youtube.com/user/TheGottmanInstitute

), as well as a variety of other workshops relevant to her work.
Professional Associations
Judy has been a full member of the Australian Psychological Society for more than twenty-five years. She has also been a full member of the Australian Society of Hypnosis for twenty years. Judy had previously trained in Relationship Counselling at Relationships Australia.
Therapies Used
Judy uses a variety of counselling techniques including CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Relaxation Training, Mindfulness, and ACT in her therapy sessions. The particular therapies used are those most suited to the client and the client’s issues.
